Our story began when Scott, leveraging his experience from his family-owned house moving business, decided to embark on a new adventure. Spotting an opportunity with the sale of Discount Windows and Doors, a modest operation at the time, Scott took a leap of faith. Through hard work, an unwavering dedication to excellent service, and a vision for what could be, he relocated the business across town and transformed it into the thriving enterprise that SB Windows & Doors Ltd. is today.

SB Windows and Doors has new owners.  Kevin Smith and Tom Silva, two long-time employees of the store, took over the business from Scott Belton on July 1, 2025.  

 

The business offers an unparalleled selection of high-quality windows and doors that can meet the diverse needs and preferences of its customers.  Smith said Belton knew he wanted to retire so he offered the business to Silva and Smith, who have worked at the shop for 15 years, and Silva, who has spent 14 years working in the shop and managing the business.  “We know it’s a good business and we saw great potential for growth,” he said. “We plan to bring in new products to compliment what we already have.”

This is the partners' first time as business owners, but they said they are not nervous about their new roles and responsibilities.  “We’ve been engaged in SB Windows and Doors for quite a while, and all of the store’s great staff of 16 experienced employees will continue to work here, and that’s a big bonus for us,” Silva said.  “We’re going to continue with the great quality of service that we’re known for at SB Windows and Doors under our ownership.”
